If the Aston Martin One-77 has four average speakers producing sound at the same time, what would the decibel level be? This is an important calculation, because we do not want to put drivers in a situation where the stereo of their vehicle could impair their hearing capabilities.
Step 1: Since we have 4 stereo systems, we state that the sound intensity is being multiplied by 4, and then we state that, therefore, the sound intensity doubles twice
Step 2: Since every time the sound intensity doubles, 3 dB is added, the total amount of dB being added is 6 dB.
Step 3: The original sound intensity level plus the added dB gives us the sound intensity level of four stereo systems.
Therefore we can conclude that since the 4 stereo systems inside the Aston Martin One-77 do not exceed 100 dB, it is safe to install this sound plan into the vehicle.
